As of August 10, 2021, the number of confirmed domestic COVID-19 cases (excluding Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and imported cases) had reached 3,671. Yangzhou reported 48 new cases, while Nanjing recorded 2 additional infections. Situated as the northern gateway of Nanjing and bordering Yangzhou, Liuhe District faces an urgent and critical situation in pandemic control.

In response, grassroots Party organizations have taken the lead in combating the outbreak, working tirelessly to provide support. They persevered through extreme heat and heavy rain, fighting day and night on the front lines. Community workers also fulfilled their duties with dedication and actively contributed to the efforts.

On the afternoon of August 10, in support of grassroots pandemic control efforts, Manager Jiang from Nanjing Oulu Electric Co., Ltd., conveying the regards of General Manager Yang, delivered anti-pandemic supplies including mineral water, iced tea, and face masks to frontline community workers. The donation was aimed at offering comfort and solidarity to those tirelessly combating the outbreak.
