At this Thursday’s morning meeting, Xiao Yu from the Human Resources Department of Oulu Electric presented an analysis of the article titled "Work Attitude Matters Most".

She emphasized in her sharing:
No matter what position you hold, a positive work attitude is essential for establishing yourself and achieving meaningful outcomes.
Everyone has the potential to become an outstanding employee and the opportunity to be entrusted with important responsibilities. Standing out in an ordinary role depends not only on one’s abilities but also on one’s proactive mindset and determination to excel.

Xiao Yu has been part of the Nanjing Oulu family for four months now. She still remembers how unfamiliar everything felt when she first joined the company — from booking meals and recognizing colleagues, to remembering names and matching them with departments. She even often mixed up General Manager Jiang and General Manager Sun from the Frequency Converter Sales Department, which led to quite a few awkward and amusing moments. She admits feeling embarrassed about it at the time.

Later, she began consciously memorizing each colleague’s name and face. She soon realized that it became much easier once she focused on remembering everyone’s distinctive features along with their names. When she found herself still struggling with colleagues she didn’t see often, she knew she had to try harder to notice what made each person unique. Her goal was simple: never again hesitate with a name or face.

She understands that if one views work merely as a task done for leaders or the company, it becomes easy to make excuses — remembering names or details only when convenient, and letting things slide when it’s not. This attitude often leads to careless efforts, evasion of responsibility, and passive participation, rather than genuinely seeking solutions.

Only with a correct understanding of the purpose of work can one approach tasks with high enthusiasm, a proactive attitude, and a genuine drive to think and act constructively — this is what it truly means to do one’s job well.

With a heart of gratitude, she appreciates the opportunity to work and the platform to showcase her abilities provided by the company. Carrying both care and joy into her work, she takes the initiative to complete her duties and strives to excel in everything she does.
