The fault code FU208 on a Sinic Electric servo drive indicates an FPGA system sampling operation timeout. The main causes and solutions for this issue are as follows:

1. MCU Communication Timeout (Internal error code: P0B-45=1208)


    • Cause: Damaged internal chip.

    • Solution: Replace the servo drive.


    • 2. Encoder Communication Timeout (Internal error code: P0B-45=2208)

    • Causes:

      a. Incorrect encoder wiring.

      b. Loose encoder cable connections.

      c. Excessive encoder cable length.

      d. Encoder signal interference.

      e. Faulty encoder.

    • Solutions:

    • a. Recheck and correct encoder wiring.
