How to adjust the parameters of the frequency converter in variable frequency constant pressure water supply equipment?
How to adjust the parameters of the frequency converter in variable frequency constant pressure water supply equipment? Today, using Nanjing Eurotherm Electric's independently developed frequency converter as an example, we will explain a simple parameter debugging method for constant pressure water supply frequency converters.
First, power on the frequency converter and wait for the startup to complete. Then follow these 6 steps in detail:
Locate the constant pressure water supply/drainage activation parameter PP-05 and set it to 1. This enables the constant pressure function.
Since the constant pressure function uses external terminals, set parameter P0-02 to 1. Similarly, any function relying on external terminal input requires this setting.
Enable the PID control by setting parameter P0-03 to 8.
Set the target pressure value (i.e., pressure adjustment for the pump).
Commonly used pressure sensors include pressure transmitters or pressure gauges. Here, we use a 0-10 kg gauge.
To achieve 2 kg of pipeline pressure, set parameter PA-01 to 20. For 4 kg, set it to 40.
Formula: Target parameter value = (Desired pressure / Maximum gauge range) × 100.
For quick adjustment without manually calculating values, set parameter PA-00 to 0. This allows using the panel’s ▲/▼ keys to directly adjust the target pressure.
After the above settings, configure the PID feedback source. Since we use a pressure gauge, set parameter PA-02 to 1.
Finally, set the start/stop method. Here, we use terminal forward start by setting parameter P4-00 to 1.
We offer more frequency converter configuration methods, such as:
Overvoltage/low voltage alarm settings
Further reducing pipeline pressure fluctuations
One inverter controlling three pumps (1-drive-3 system)
