Nanjing Oulu Electric's New Energy Products Shine at Africa Solar Show!
The 8th Kenya International Solar Energy Exhibition was held as scheduled from May 18 to 20, 2023, at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi.
SolarAfrica Kenya serves as a key platform for solar industry exchange and exhibition in Kenya, enjoying high recognition across East and Central Africa. Due to Africa’s growing demand for solar projects and products, the participation rate of major global solar industry players in the 2023 exhibition is expected to increase by at least 30%.
The Kenya International Solar Energy Exhibition is now the largest and most influential solar industry event in Kenya and the wider East African region. The organizer, ExpoGroup, is a leading exhibition organizer in Africa and the Middle East, also known for its highly regarded trade shows in solar energy, lighting, and machinery held in Tanzania, Ethiopia, Rwanda, and other countries.

At the Africa Solar Show, Oulu Electric successfully showcased its new energy products, such as wind turbines, wind turbine controllers, energy storage inverters, solar charge controllers, integrated wind-solar hybrid inverter-controllers, and lithium battery packs. The exhibition attracted numerous professionals from the new energy sector, leading to extensive discussions on potential cooperation. On the very first day, Oulu Electric became one of the most popular booths at the event and was honored with a certificate of recognition presented by the organizer.
Many long-term African clients who had previously only collaborated remotely made special visits to the Oulu Electric booth for face-to-face meetings. Several showed strong interest after inspecting the products in person, with some immediately expressing their desire to become local agents and signing distribution agreements on the spot. Other clients, who were working on active projects, received on-the-spot system design support and equipment recommendations from our team, leading to immediate order placements. Additionally, some customers requested to purchase all display samples after the exhibition, with advance payments for the samples made as early as the first day. All product series from Oulu Electric were met with great enthusiasm and warm reception by our African partners. Every exhibit displayed at the event was successfully sold on-site. In addition, confirmed orders totaling USD 57,000 were signed, along with indent orders reaching USD 130,000.
