Nanjing Oulu Electric Co., Ltd. was established with a core belief in harmonizing and coexisting with nature. In alignment with the national vision that "Lucid Waters and Lush Mountains Are Invaluable Assets," the company provides renewable energy power generation solutions that prioritize ecological preservation. For many years, Oulu Electric has actively supported government initiatives to expand electricity access in remote regions such as Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, and Tibet. In recent years, responding to national poverty alleviation campaigns, the company has supplied large quantities of off-grid wind-solar hybrid power generation systems and solar PV systems to multiple underserved areas across China, significantly improving living conditions and access to electricity in these communities.

Initially, the company offered standalone wind-solar hybrid energy storage systems under 1kW, with over 100,000 units sold. As herders’ living standards improved and electricity demand grew, Oulu began supplying larger systems above 2kW, with nearly 10,000 units already deployed. These systems fully meet daily electricity needs such as lighting, television, refrigeration, washing machines, and water heating.

Benefiting from China’s Belt and Road Initiative, which has not only improved global perceptions of China but also spurred soaring energy demand along its routes, Oulu’s self-developed off-grid wind-solar hybrid systems offer a timely solution. Unlike slow and costly grid expansion or polluting diesel generators, these systems provide a sustainable and efficient alternative. Staying true to its philosophy of ecological harmony, the company has also developed wind-solar water pumping systems for remote off-grid areas, which have been well received in both domestic and international markets.

In accordance with the Energy Development Strategy Action Plan (2014–2020), China will continue to comprehensively and coordinately promote the development of wind power and encourage diversified utilization of solar energy.
