Nanjing Oulu Electric Launches "Quality Month" Campaign in September 2018

In strict adherence to the ISO 9001 Quality Management and Quality Assurance Systems, we are dedicated to enhancing both product and process quality, strengthening company-wide quality awareness, and fostering a culture of craftsmanship. Through these efforts, we strive to deliver increasingly superior products to our users.
This September, under the theme “Proactively Solving Problems for the Market and Customers,” the company launched a “Quality Month” initiative across all departments.
Building on awareness-raising and mobilization efforts, the campaign actively carries out quality training, experience-sharing sessions, seminars, competitions, and improvement activities. Special Quality Management Regulations have been formulated to be studied, promoted, and formally implemented throughout the month. Guided by the principles and methods of Total Quality Management (TQM), QC (Quality Control) teams will focus on addressing key product issues and critical challenges. The company will also strengthen communication with customers to better understand their needs, and enhance collaboration with suppliers to further improve the quality of raw materials, components, and incoming goods—enabling customers, suppliers, and Oulu to grow together. Additionally, all departments are required to reflect on their work under the theme “Proactively Solving Problems for the Market and Customers,” and put forward their opinions and suggestions.
At the mobilization meeting held on the first working day of September, company leadership first explained the background and purpose of the “Quality Month.” They emphasized that excellent products can only be achieved through excellent work, and proposed three criteria for evaluating performance:
Clearly define the outcome of your work. This means understanding and fulfilling market and customer demands, complying with workflows and product standards, and ultimately creating value for the company.
Apply dedication to your tasks. Dedicated employees go beyond superficial efforts, take initiative, avoid shifting responsibility, and demonstrate accountability.
Work efficiently. Solve problems promptly without delay, complete daily tasks on time, and pay attention to detail with a craftsman’s spirit.
The company set five key requirements for the September Quality Month:
Focus on concrete actions, not empty talk.
Enforce strict standards, rewarding excellence and diligence while penalizing poor performance and laziness.
Integrate the campaign’s objectives into weekly and monthly plans for phased implementation.
Base all evaluations on data and results.
Maintain sustained effort to genuinely improve work quality and elevate product quality.
The management team has carefully planned and arranged a series of related activities. Following the mobilization meeting, every employee has felt the importance and expectations of Quality Month. Everyone has expressed their commitment to actively participate, implement learnings diligently, and embody the mindset that “quality awareness is in our hearts, and product quality is in our hands.” By proactively solving problems for the market and customers, we aim to grow individually and create greater value for the company.
