Good News: Continental Electric Gets Off to a Strong Start --- Wins Bid for Urat Middle Banner Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Generation System Project
Nanjing Continental Electric Co., Ltd., one of the top three enterprises in China’s small wind turbine industry, has secured its leading position through exceptional product quality, strong technical expertise, comprehensive after-sales support, trustworthy business practices, an excellent reputation, and extensive project implementation experience. On January 24, 2018, the company successfully won the bid for the Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Generation System Project under the “Power Upgrade Procurement Project for Remote Farming and Pastoral Areas in Urat Middle Banner”, achieving a strong start to the new year.
Established in September 2007 with a registered capital of 50.8 million RMB, the company was listed on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ) in Beijing in May 2017 under stock code 871415. Since 2008, Nanjing Continental Electric has been dedicated to integrated system solutions and the independent R&D, production, sales, and service of core products including wind turbines, controllers, inverters, and integrated control-inverter systems. The company provides high-quality products and solutions, along with a full range of supporting services such as installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance, technical upgrades, and remote data analysis. This ensures outstanding reliability, compatibility, and stability in renewable energy power generation system integration.
The two core products involved in this bid—wind turbines and wind-solar hybrid control-inverter integrated systems—are independently developed and manufactured by Nanjing Continental Electric. Both have passed rigorous testing and obtained product inspection reports from certified agencies. The company’s self-developed FD series wind turbines feature high power generation capacity, compact and lightweight design, and a unique heat-dissipation fin structure that ensures long-term effective operation even under full load. An innovative tail vane yaw mechanism automatically aligns the turbine with wind direction, enhancing output efficiency while providing adjustment and strong wind protection for reliable mechanical yaw control.
The supplied wind-solar hybrid control-inverter system is a versatile high-performance integrated unit upgraded from the OL-WS wind controller, OL-SOLAR PV controller, and OLI series inverter. It adopts a modular design with two independent yet complementary modules: wind-solar hybrid control and pure sine wave inverter control. Equipped with RS485 communication functionality, users can monitor and control the system via the company’s dedicated monitoring platform. The system boasts a simple structure, powerful performance, industrial-grade components, and strict manufacturing standards, making it suitable for harsh environments such as extreme low temperatures while ensuring high reliability and long service life.
The company has extensive experience implementing similar projects across most banners and counties in Inner Mongolia, including Urat Middle Banner, Damao Banner, Siziwang Banner, Otog Banner, Erenhot, Ulagai, Alxa Left Banner, Zhenglan Banner, East Ujimqin Banner, Sonid Right Banner, Xilin Hot City, West Ujimqin Banner, Sonid Left Banner, Ewenki Autonomous Banner, Chen Barag Banner, Ejina Banner, and Horqin Right Front Banner. Each region is supported by a complete after-sales service system. Since 2010, the company has supplied over 10,000 sets of equipment in Inner Mongolia alone, capturing more than 60% of the local market. In Urat Middle Banner alone, more than 2,000 sets have been delivered. The products are well-regarded by local herders for their stability and low maintenance requirements.
For this project, the company commits to delivering superior quality and better service compared to competitors, along with extended warranty coverage for core system components.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all evaluation units and relevant leaders involved in the bid for recognizing our products and overall capabilities. We also thank the company’s leadership for their strategic decisions and the dedicated teamwork of all Continental Electric employees, which enabled us to stand out among numerous competitors and secure the bid.
Winning this project is of great significance for the company’s future business expansion. It further strengthens the brand image of Continental Electric in integrated systems, showcasing not only the company’s strength but also its core competitiveness. This achievement lays a solid foundation for the company’s leap-forward development in 2018 and its continued expansion into western markets.
