On August 29, 2019, during the weekly morning meeting, Ms. Lin, Wind Turbine Project Assistant from the New Energy Market Department of Nanjing Oulu Electric, shared an article titled "Action Always Comes First." She recalled a philosopher’s words in her sharing:
“We live in actions, not in years.”
To change your life, you must start by taking action — only action can shortcut your way to a better reality.

Having been with the company for just a few months, Ms. Lin’s conscientious attitude has been evident to all. As our corporate culture at Nanjing Oulu Electric often emphasizes:
“Respond quickly, act immediately, and finish today’s work today.”
She truly embodies this spirit, having independently completed multiple tasks assigned by leadership with excellence. Her performance has earned recognition and praise from management, as well as respect from her colleagues.

We are pleased to share the following insights from Ms. Lin, Assistant of the Wind Turbine Project in the New Energy Market Department, for everyone’s learning and reference:

A person’s actions shape their attitude. Action brings feedback and a sense of achievement, as well as joy. The self-fulfillment and happiness gained through dedicated work cannot be replaced by any other means.

Although action may not always lead to satisfactory results, without action, there will be no satisfactory outcomes at all. Without action, one remains merely a spectator. Therefore, if you wish to achieve success, you must start by taking action.

Every day, countless people abandon their hard-earned ideas simply because they dare not take the first step. Yet, after some time, these ideas return to haunt them.

One of the saddest sentences in the world is: “I should have done it back then, but I didn’t.” How often do we hear someone say, “If I had started that business back in the day, I would be rich by now!” A great idea stillborn is truly lamentable and unforgettable. If a person, worn down by life’s hardships, dreams of change, they have already taken the first step. But what good is just one step if they wish to reach the ocean of success?

Therefore, if you have a dream, only through action can you ultimately break free from a fate of regret.

In the end, it must be said: sitting still will never change your current situation. Only a fool would hope for miracles without lifting a finger. As the saying goes: “No pain, no gain.” Without exertion—without action—there can be no reward. Whether you use your mind or your body, you must “move” to move forward.
