How to adjust the acceleration time of the inverter

发布时间:2021-12-23

The acceleration time of an inverter refers to the duration it takes to increase the frequency from 0 Hz to the maximum input frequency. This setting is generally related to the load: the heavier the load, the longer the acceleration time required.

As shown in Figure (1) of the instruction manual, P0-17 is the parameter for setting the acceleration time, and P0-19 is the parameter for setting the unit of acceleration/deceleration time.

Press PRG to enter the P0 parameter group, then use the Up/Down keys to select parameter P0-17. The display shows 0000.0, indicating that the acceleration time has not been set. Use the Up/Down keys to configure the acceleration time.

If precise time settings are required, return to P0-19 to set the time unit. Press Enter to access the parameter—the display shows 1. As shown in Figure (1):

  • 0 represents 1 second,

  • 1 represents 0.1 seconds,

  • 2 represents 0.01 seconds.

The current time unit is set to 0.01 seconds. To change it, set the value to 0 (1 second) or another unit as needed.
