Nanjing Oulu Electric Holds Online 2020 Annual Sales Conference
In 2020, Nanjing Oulu Electric combated the pandemic while boosting production, pursuing innovation internally and expansion externally. The company achieved strong performance across the year, with its frequency converter, servo motor, and servo drive businesses each recording over 30% growth. The new EV510A frequency converter and MZ630 servo drive were well received by the market.
To thoroughly review and analyze the annual sales outcomes, assess the 2021 market landscape, set clear objectives, and deploy action plans, the company held its Annual Sales Conference on January 27, 2020.
In active response to national pandemic control guidelines and to effectively prevent the spread of COVID-19, the conference adopted a hybrid format combining both online and offline participation. It was co-chaired by Sun Qinjian, Sales Director for the Southern Region, and Jiang Junping, Sales Director for the Northern Region. Attendees included sales staff from the Industrial Automation Marketing Department based at the headquarters and management personnel from the Business Department who were present on-site, along with over 20 sales colleagues from regional offices across the country who joined via video conference.
During the conference, each sales representative shared their achievements and shortcomings from 2020 with company leadership and colleagues. They discussed highlights, challenges, and difficulties encountered in their work, offered personal reflections and suggestions, and set clear sales targets and action plans for 2021.
Sales directors from each region provided a detailed analysis of the problems and shortcomings identified in the team’s performance over the past year. They held in-depth discussions on the objectives, priorities, and breakdowns for 2021, as well as strategies for effective execution. Additionally, they offered tailored methods and recommendations on how each salesperson could leverage their strengths, address weaknesses, prioritize and follow up on key projects, and identify new business opportunities. These exchanges provided everyone with a clearer sense of direction for the year ahead and strengthened confidence in achieving their targets.
Finally, Mr. Xu Yongjian, Deputy General Manager of the company, delivered an analysis and summary. He pointed out that the economic landscape in 2021 remains complex and uncertain—presenting both challenges and opportunities—which will pose significant tests for the sales team. He emphasized the need to strengthen sales management, urged team members to adapt their working methods, dive deeper into the market, identify and create opportunities, commit to continuous learning and improvement, and focus on collaboration and attention to detail. He also announced that the company will undertake a dual upgrade in both craftsmanship and appearance design of its products in response to market and user demands, while further increasing investment in R&D.
